The national coach is fundraising for the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation

Support Scottish Rugby legend and national team head coach Gregor Townsend on his Border Golf Challenge to raise funds for the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation as he plays a hole at all 21 courses in the Borders on just one day on Sunday 8 September.

There are 21 courses in the Borders and the big man himself has promised to join Gregor for the day. Gregor will be teeing off at Peebles Golf Club on Sunday September 8th, at 12.01pm - we'd love for a huge show of support from the Peebles Rugby family as Gregor undertakes this challenge in support of a cause which is very close to the heart of us all here at Peebles Rugby.

Please click on the following YouTube link for a promotional video which will give you some more information on the whole event: click here

Whether you are able to come down to the first tee and see Gregor off, please also consider donating to this effort and supporting the great cause that is the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation, as there is so much more that can be done to fund research into curing the disease, as well as providing grants and assistance for those currently living with MND.

**COMING DOWN? PLEASE READ THIS IMPORTANT INFORMATION**

Get there ahead of time
A polite request - please get to the tee on time! Given the logistics of the event, Gregor's time is VERY tight. So spectators really need to be in place by 11:30am to avoid disruption to the event. If you get there in plenty of time, you will be assured of being there to greet Gregor and Doddie as they make their way to the tee.

Parking

The Golf Club have a a big competition taking place immediately after Gregor & Doddie depart from Peebles at 12:30. So for our Members attending, PLEASE PARK AT KINGSLAND PRIMARY SCHOOL CAR PARK, which is just a short stroll down the hill from the golf course.
