Volunteers
required – Mini section (Piranhas)
The
mini section of the club are in need of some additional help particularly in the
area of coaching and 1 or 2 people to help out with admin.
The current crop of volunteers within the club have successfully grown
the numbers playing at this level and now require some willing helpers to
sustain the number of boys and girls attending the sessions.
I
have already run 1 Foundation Coaching Course in Peebles last month and would be
able to run another one should this be required for any new coaches out there
willing to help the kids get their weekly rugby sessions.
If
you don’t have any previous rugby or coaching knowledge please don’t be put
off as the course along with the current coaches will help you find your feet.
You may want to just be on hand to help with admin of arranging games or
an active adult supervisor at the training sessions should any of the kids or
coaches need assistance and that would be a great help too.
The
season is getting towards the final stages for them now and it would be nice for
the players to finish the season as we started, with lots of kids playing rugby
and enjoying themselves with the volunteers enjoying it as well.
If
you can help in any please try and come down now rather than leave it to next
season as it will be appreciated. It
will give you an insight into what is required and we will be able to plan
better for the beginning of next season.
