Tonight Glenrath Farm Eggs sponsored Peebles travel down to Mansfield Park for a Booker Wholesale Border League encounter with Hawick who are going well in the RBS National Division. This will be a difficult match for Peter Wright’s squad as Hawick are notoriously difficult to beat on their home turf but Peebles as always in the Border League are relishing the challenge. The match kicks-off at 7:30pm under the Mansfield Park floodlights.

Fans of rugby from a certain era are in for a treat tomorrow as the Peebles Pensioners led by the inimitable Jim Currie take on the Biggar Old Boys in an over-35’s derby encounter at Hay Lodge Park – kick off 2:00 pm.

Tomorrow the seconds - sponsored by FIRST XV and – make the journey into Meggetland to play Boroughmuir 3rds in RBS Reserve League East 1. For seconds supporters - this match kicks off at 2:00pm.

The Colts - supported by BARC Coach Hire – are also away from home – making the long journey to the coast at Scremerston to play Berwick Colts in the Border Semi-Junior League - kick off is at 2:00pm for travelling Colts fans.

On Sunday the possible future stars of Peebles rugby are in action when the Peebles Uner-16 - sponsored by Bordermix - take on their counterparts from Jedforest at Hay Lodge Park with a morning kick-off to accommodate those wanting to travel to Murrayfield. Please check the club website for details.

Last Saturday Glenrath Farm Eggs sponsored Peebles made the journey into East Lothian to play Haddington in RBS Championship Division B at Neilson Park. A stirring performance by Peter Wright’s men saw them triumph by 44 – 12 gaining a vital bonus point victory which, with both Howe of Fife and Musselburgh losing, – albeit gaining a bonus point apiece - sees Peebles top the table on points difference from Howe – a position they will hold only by continuing to play to the best of their ability, with some tough fixtures to come in the RBS Championship Division B, the first of which is Murrayfield Wanderers away on 1st December.

The seconds - sponsored by FIRST XV and rugbystuff – were also on the road – to play Selkirk Stormers down at Philiphaugh in RBS Reserve League East 1. They returned winners by 20 – 18 in a tight game recovering from 18 – 17 down in the dying minutes.

The Colts – supported by BARC Coach Hire - were the only side at home when they played Jed Thistle in the Border Semi-Junior League and won a tight but entertaining game by 29 – 22 scoring late on to take the win.

So it was a ‘full house’ Saturday for the club with all three sides victorious – with Peebles’ league position at the top being the icing on the cake.

The club is delighted to announce that the Peebles RFC Under 16's have acquired a new team sponsor in local company Bordermix.
