High School play host to Earlston High
Excellent mornings sport at the High School
A busy Saturday morning up at the High School with visitors Earlston meeting the hosts at rugby and Mary Erskine School visiting for hockey.
80 boys turned out to represent Peebles High this morning over the 3 age groups of S1, S2 and S3. There were enough players at S1 from both sides to form two teams each. This saw Earlston win the S1 A fixture, with the B fixture a draw.
The second year game was a kkenly fought match, with the Peebles S2's eventually running out 7 trys to 5 winners. The third years played well but lost out to a well drilled Earlston U15 side.
A great advert for the game and some excellent performances across the board. As we write, it's planned that the High School will be awat to Jedburgh Grammar School next Saturday morning.
