Annual Burns Supper on Sunday 27th January 4:00pm for 5:00pm start - as usual it will be free to senior citizen members but this year it will be open to other members at a cost of £10 – names to Jim Currie or the bar steward. The haggis will be piped in by Ross Brown, Graeme Murray will address the haggis and toast the Bard, the Lassies will be toasted by Dale Clancy – the club captain and Lynn Smellie will reply for the Lassies. There will be a variety of entertainment throughout the supper.

Despite what you say about only two people attending the Burns Supper, I 'phoned the club on Monday (14th Jan) and registered three names for the event. Namely...my own(Bill Thomson), John Taylor and Alan Webster. We look forward to the 27th.

Thanks for your comment. The 2 noted as attending are the only ones who have confirmed by using the website. To be honest nobody really bothers with this function of the website normally so don't worry about it - it is by no means the register of people attending. I'm sure the Burns night will be as popular as ever.
